Position: 6-Month Contract Pharmacy Technician
Work Schedule: 5.5 days, Alternate Saturdays
Salary: $2200 - $2400, with benefits
Location: Novena Hospital ( Govt )
Your Role:
- Unit Dose Repackaging & Barcoding: Operate the Unit Dose Packaging System to repackage medications into barcoded unit doses.
- Quality Control & Audits: Perform QC checks on repackaged drugs and conduct storage audits across patient care areas.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory within Barcode Pharmacy & Automated Dispensing Cabinets, ensuring medication safety and compliance.
- Operational Support: Oversee automated dispensing processes, conduct system checks, and ensure pharmacy equipment and workplace cleanliness.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: Local Polytechnic Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science OR WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Pharmacy Support)
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access
- Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 7 kg and stand/squat for extended periods
- Work Environment: Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility: Willing to work on alternate Saturdays and occasional extended hours
