Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leveraging generative AI to drive strategic business outcomes, managing cloud platform development projects, and designing AI models for risk assessment and predictive analytics. Fluency in Japanese, with the highest level of certification, is required to support global collaboration with Japanese clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement innovative corporate branding strategies using generative AI, supported by data analysis to measure and optimize effectiveness.
- Lead the business of cloud platforms powered by generative AI, manage the progress of international projects as part of a PMO, and ensure compliance with business and legal requirements for SaaS services.
- Develop advanced techniques and analytical applications to transform raw data into actionable insights using programming languages and data visualization tools.
- Extract and analyze information from large, structured datasets by applying data mining, modeling, and machine learning (ML) methods.
- Create
- Build and deploy company-wide risk assessment models, perform statistical analyses on transaction data, and design predictive AI models tailored for the financial services sector.
- Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for AI applications and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Maintain and optimize AI/ML pipelines, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and security.
- Stay updated on emerging AI tools and techniques to ensure the adoption of best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to developing the team’s technical capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to data privacy and ethical AI practices during model development and deployment.
- Conduct ongoing evaluations of AI systems to meet evolving business needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Science, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in AI engineering, with expertise in generative AI, predictive analytics, and data-driven solution development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Strong knowledge of data processing, transformation, and visualization using tools like Pandas, NumPy, and Tableau.
- Expertise in data mining, statistical modeling, and ML techniques to extract insights from complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for AI application development.
- Proven ability to visualize, interpret, and report data findings.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese, with a Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1 certification or equivalent, in order to communicate and collaborate with Japan HQ, stakeholders and clients.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and leading projects to completion.
- Familiarity with SaaS business models and compliance considerations.
