Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Data Migration Lead. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end data migration process from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA as part of a bluefield migration project. This role requires a strategic thinker with a solid understanding of SAP modules, data migration methodologies, and risk mitigation strategies.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems
- Min. 5 years of proven track record of managing SAP data migration, rollouts, and implementation projects;
- Strong familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies and business process reengineering programs;
- Exceptional data strategy creation & project management skills with a history of delivering projects on time and within budget;
- Good understanding of various SAP modules such as FICO, PS, PM, EAM;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
Desired Skill-set
- Certifications in PMP, PRINCE2, CBAP, or ITIL;
- Knowledge of plant maintenance best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive data migration strategy tailored to a bluefield migration project, minimizing risks through detailed data change impact analysis;
- Oversee the entire data migration lifecycle, including Preload and Post-Load validations, ensuring timely and successful execution;
- Manage data extraction, cleansing, transformation, enrichment, validation, and reconciliation during migration;
- Coordinate the migration of data, documents, and content from ECC and other legacy systems to S/4 HANA;
- Conduct a thorough analysis of data changes, assess associated risks, and address challenges to ensure a smooth transition;
- Perform simplification item checks to confirm data consistency and relevancy, coordinating with stakeholders to resolve incomplete data issues;
- Design ETL processes and oversee manual data transformations to SAP-loadable values;
- Ensure data integrity across modules (MM, EAM, FICO, PS) and subsystems within the S/4 HANA environment;
- Implement robust data quality controls, including monitoring and auditing, to maintain long-term data integrity.
