Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and monitor HSSE policies, procedures and management systems to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimise HSSE risks
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Provide training and support to employees to foster a strong HSSE culture
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and address HSSE concerns
- Prepare HSSE performance reports and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Stay up-to-date with changes in HSSE regulations and industry standards
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in a similar HSSE management role, preferably in the maritime or oil and gas industry
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or Engineering
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing HSSE management systems and programs
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in relevant HSSE regulations and industry standards
