Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Dr Gloryn Chia on developing cancer immunotherapies.

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow with expertise in immunology or oncology to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with clinicians and scientists to develop innovative platforms for identifying and validating novel immunotherapies, with a focus on studying the intricate interactions between T cells and cancer cells. This role will involve assessing and advancing therapeutic strategies, including vaccines targeting neoantigens and other novel antigens, to treat cancer and other human diseases.

The ideal candidate will independently design and execute experiments, troubleshoot technical challenges, interpret complex data, and deliver progress updates. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research aimed at understanding fundamental immune mechanisms and translating these insights into cancer treatment. The main responsibilities of the position include:
Performing and designing experiments

Qualifications

• Qualifications / Discipline: PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of high-quality publications in peer-reviewed journals.

• Skills: Cell culture, molecular cloning, and animal studies (including mouse handling and experimentation), among other relevant laboratory techniques.

• Experience: In vivo and in vitro research experience
