Job Description:
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, credit funds, insurers, and commodity traders, and establish new partnerships as needed.
- Manage financing operations in coordination with internal teams (Finance, Operations, Traders).
- Work with the China team to manage banking facilities and maintain coordination with banks and counterparties.
- Support trade finance activities, including negotiating trade facilities with banks in line with company policies.
- Coordinate with financial institutions across regions to ensure smooth operations, including issuing securities and managing collections.
- Stay informed on trends in commodity trade finance and apply insights to business strategies.
- Lead efforts to create innovative financing structures to maximize profits, working closely with business development and trading teams.
- Ensure the accuracy and proper maintenance of trade finance documents and records.
- Ensure all documents meet bank requirements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Work with traders, operations, credit, and legal teams to assess deal structures, considering finance facilities and risk frameworks.
- Lead negotiations with banks to secure partnerships for complex transactions.
- Conduct due diligence, provide analysis, and manage risks for investment projects.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- At least 8 years of experience in financing, with knowledge of regulations in Singapore and China.
- Strong skills in risk management, communication, coordination, and adaptability.
- Familiarity with financing processes for private enterprises.
- Strong sense of responsibility and proactive mindset.
- Experience leading a team.
