Purpose of the role

Responsible for supporting the enhancement, alignment, and maintenance of product risk governance framework and reviewing and evaluation of Third-Party risk management arrangements to ensure robustness.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of the strategy of Product Risk Governance and Third-Party Risk Management for APAC, collaborating with the relevant divisions (business units, risk assessment divisions etc.), and ensure alignment with the organization’s overall strategy and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote operational efficiency through:
  • The timely and accurate review of new products / product variations for APAC and streamlining of product risk management work processes under the Product Governance Framework.
  • The timely and accurate review of Third-Party Assessment in accordance with the requirements of Singapore Branch's Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Framework.
  • Provide support and advice to relevant divisions on Product Risk Governance matters via New Product Assessment (NPA), Periodic Assessment (PA) and Product Risk Management Committee (PRMC).
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for Third-Party Risk Management Committee, Risk Management Committee and Product Risk Committee meetings.
  • Assist in addressing stakeholders’ queries on the Third-Party Risk Management Framework.

Job Requirements:

  • Recognised degree in Business, Accountancy, Economics or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of Risk Management experience, particularly with exposure to enterprise risk/operational risk
  • Exposure within the Asia & Oceania region will be an added advantage
  • Experience in using Pivot table, VlookUp, PowerPoint
  • Good coordination and collaborating skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Good understanding of the Commercial Bank business and operating model
  • Other qualities sought include good written English, strong analytical and excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
