Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implementation of a network.
2. LANs, WANs, and other network topologies are designed and implemented.
3. Evaluating and selecting hardware and software solutions to satisfy the organisation's needs.
4. Monitoring network performance and guaranteeing peak performance.
5. Routine maintenance and upgrades are performed to avoid downtime and security concerns.
6. Diagnosing and addressing network faults as soon as possible.
7. End-user technical assistance and collaboration with other IT teams to resolve issues.
8. Creating and updating extensive documentation on network setups, procedures, and troubleshooting procedures.
9. Working with other IT professionals, such as system administrators and security specialists, to maintain a cohesive IT environment.

Requirements and Skills: Network Engineer

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
2. 2+ years of experience in the required field.
3. Knowledge of networking protocols and technology.
4. Knowledge of network hardware (routers, switches, and firewalls) and software.
5. Relevant certifications (for example, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+).
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication skills are required for efficient collaboration and user assistance.
