Our client, a globally recognized professional association, is seeking an experienced and dynamic marketing professional to lead the execution of the regional marketing strategy for Southeast Asia. This role is responsible for driving marketing campaigns, working collaboratively with central teams, and ensuring the regional representation of larger marketing initiatives. The Regional Marketing Lead will focus on delivering performance marketing strategies, generating revenue, and fostering strong customer relationships across B2C and B2B channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the execution of regional marketing strategy and development plans to generate revenue and drive conversions across Southeast Asia, collaborating with Brand & Product Marketing to activate regional programs.
- Identify regional growth opportunities, customer segment trends, and competitive activities that influence customer development. Adopt a growth mindset to improve performance marketing, working closely with the Growth Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams.
- Establish sales enablement activities, leveraging marketing and product management to engage customers consistently, and support new sales pipeline growth in collaboration with sales teams.
- Manage direct agency relationships to design and implement localized campaigns for the region.
- Act as the central point of contact for regional marketing, escalating issues to the Regional MD. Work with the business team to customize assets for the local market.
- Provide line management support to the regional marketing team, including coaching, development, and acting as a point of escalation.
- Define locally meaningful activities to raise brand awareness and focus on lead generation. Contribute to identifying regional priorities that positively impact the business.
- Develop KPIs and goals aligned with performance marketing metrics, track marketing performance, and provide recommendations for adjustments. Work closely with the Growth Marketing Lead and analytics teams to analyze trends and future opportunities.
- Establish regional marketing operational processes to transition from growth to life-cycle marketing with outcome-focused metrics, including field marketing support and team coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the company’s strategy, solution capabilities, and market trends, advocating for the business and leveraging team capabilities.
- Collaborate with marketing teams globally on new activities, building and maintaining strong relationships with business teams and stakeholders. Ensure adoption of Marketing Technology and Operations processes and governance where relevant.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in PR and Communications, especially dealing with agencies to manage campaigns and initiatives.
- Proficiency in Social Media marketing as a tool for brand building and performance-driven campaigns.
- Strong Southeast Asia coverage experience, including an in-depth understanding of regional market dynamics.
- Expertise in performance marketing, with a focus on driving conversions and sales in the Southeast Asia region.
- Experience in media planning, buying, and campaign optimization to drive better marketing performance.
- Ability to analyze marketing performance data and recommend adjustments based on results.
- Ability to develop strong partnerships and align marketing strategies across various business units.
