Head of Commercial Product Marketing

This role will be a key to drive growth within the commercial business segments within the systems division and increase overall ASUS brand share in:


  1. Product: Manage product life cycle/ product & price positioning and take the responsibility for product P/L.
  2. Channel: Identify addressable market/ Go-to Market plan.
  3. Marketing: Closely working with HQ team to own and be responsible for the entire Go To Market strategy for the segment, planning and driving activities from leads generation, product launches to channel programs and branding campaigns.


The Responsibilities:


Business Management:

  • To develop new product lines and build the foundation before handling over to Product Manager.
  • Lead cross-functional team to complete products plan to meet business requirements and deliver to market on time.
  • Plan business objectives and deliverables for each product.
  • Evaluate market demands and review market trends.
  • Coordinate with product core team to deal with key-tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Identify customer needs, oversee market research, and monitor the market trends/competitive landscape
  • Identifying opportunities to out-position competitors based on areas of product differentiation, both in the short and long term
  • Establish brand awareness and preference within the market by defining product & brand positioning.
  • Work with internal stakeholders (HQ and local teams) to implement global marketing direction as well as develop local value proposition/messaging for consumer product line up in respective target markets.


The Requirement:

  • A self-starter who is able to work independently and engage cross-functional teams in meeting customer requirements
  • Strong PC skills preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong negotiation skills, independent and self-motivated.
  • Energetic, dynamic, optimistic and customer service-oriented
  • Strong analytical skill & ability to work under stress
  • Excellent cross-functional team management, strong interpersonal communication and coordination skills.
  • Excellent motivational leadership stimulating team members to quest for innovation, better solution.
  • Ability to develop business/ marketing strategy independently.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environment, complex problems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English language with maturity to deal with key-tasks of confidentiality and sensitivity.
