Job Scope
- Lead the design, development and testing of new mechanical engineering solutions to support the company's product roadmap
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform design concepts into high-quality, manufacturable products
- Conduct root cause analyses, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure product quality and reliability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices to continuously improve engineering processes
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance their technical skills and foster a culture of continuous learning
- Contribute to the development of engineering standards, policies and procedures to drive operational excellence
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Design & Development Engineer or in a similar role within the Mechanical Engineering and Semicon industry
- Proficient in mechanical design, CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and prototyping techniques
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and testing methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring junior engineers
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
