Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Service Technician specializing in NAVCOM systems, with expertise in IT, VSAT, LEO, and MEO technologies. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing navigation and communication equipment on vessels, with flexibility to travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test NAVCOM systems, including VSAT, LEO, and MEO equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on navigation and communication equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with NAVCOM systems
- Collaborate with vessel crew and other stakeholders to ensure seamless installation and maintenance of NAVCOM systems
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies in NAVCOM systems
Requirements
- Relevant studies / experienced in related industry
- Experienced in IT, VSAT, LEO, and MEO technologies
- Strong understanding of navigation and communication systems
- Willingness to travel
