Roles and Responsibilities
- Work on in-house system development projects for container flow management and among other future projects
- Take responsibility and act as person-in-charge for specific regions and act as a bridge, connecting between different units and regional/front offices
- Act as the person-in-charge for specific regions, overseeing the achievement ratio and performing root cause analysis
- Take responsibility as the main person-in-charge for system run and release of the results globally
- Review repositioning costs applied to shipments at a holistic level and act as person-in-charge for specific regions
- Promote digital transformation globally with regional/front offices
- Provide data analytical support and BI requirements in Looker/ Tableau to the department
- Handle any ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's or above in Data Analytics
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the container shipping industry and strong knowledge of shipping/logistics
- Proficiency in BI tools (Looker and Tableau preferred) to present insightful messages with follow-up actions
- Ability to review complex information, perform comparative analysis, and make recommendations based on findings
- Excellent communication skills and good command of the English language to present solutions to a non-technical audience of different nationalities in an effective manner
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a team
