Position: Treasury Operations - Trade Finance (Officer /Senior Officer)
We are helping our client, a reputable Chinese bank to hire for the above.
Responsibilities:
· Handle and process daily treasurysettlement and clearing transactions.
· To balance Nostro accounts closing and opening balance daily.
· Process customer internet banking.
· Perform loan processing / administration duties in fix deposit and corporate loan (syndication/ bilateral loan, loan booking, etc.), personal loan, safekeeping of original documents and collaterals.
· To ensure proper processing of Trade Finance transactions.
· To process remittance transactions, i.e. MT202, MT103, MEPS008, MEPS009 etc.
· Prepare daily, weekly, monthly report to H.O. and MAS.
· Participate for any system enhancement / testing/ projects/BCP assigned.
Requirements:
· Bachelor Degree in relevant fields
· Min 3 years of relevant experience in the Banking industry.
· Strong understanding and experience in swift operations.
· Able to process remittance transaction and common types of swift message.
· With knowledge of accounting entry and reporting.
· Good understanding and knowledge in various treasury products, e.g. Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Security/Bonds, derivative products and possessing treasury settlement and clearing processing experience preferred.
· Experience of handling trade finance products, i.e. L/C, L/G, collection, invoice financing, bill discounting, forfeiting preferred.
· Being familiar with local clearing systems, i.e. MEPS+ preferred.
· Must be meticulous, careful, positive and full sense of responsibility.
· Mature with good communication skills and must be able to work independently
· Knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage to liaise with Mandarin speaking Parties
