Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Junior Application Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the implementation, customization, and maintenance of business applications to ensure their optimal performance for clients. As a Junior Application Consultant, you will work closely with senior consultants to learn and develop your skills in application consulting, while assisting in analyzing client requirements and providing technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Support: Assist in providing support for application users, including troubleshooting, resolving issues, and performing application updates.
- Application Implementation: Support the implementation of applications by configuring and customizing them based on client requirements.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements, and assist in translating these requirements into technical solutions.
- Testing and Validation: Assist in the testing of applications, ensuring that they meet functional and technical specifications, and resolve any identified issues.
- Documentation: Create and maintain user manuals, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles.
- Training and Support: Provide basic training for end-users and assist in developing training materials for clients.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to the applications you work with.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of business processes and software applications.
- Basic experience with software implementation, integration, or support (internships or projects).
- Familiarity with SQL, programming languages, and basic system analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Ability to learn new applications and technologies quickly.
- Basic knowledge of application lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
