Location: Tampines Changkat CC
Working hours: 8am - 11am
Responsibilities
In the pop-up library at Tampines Changkat CC, perform the following tasks:
- Check and sign off for items delivered by SingPost and report to library staff if discrepancy in delivered items noted
- Scan return of items and arrange them neatly in the designated space
- Do stocktake to ensure there is enough stock for each day top-ups
- Consolidate books to be sent to RDM for rework
- Test the gantries to ensure it works well and help with the maintenance when required
- To liaise with branch managers and SEO staff to work on waiver requests via email and Polaris LEAP regarding claim returns, disputes, and more
- Any other duties as instructed
At the Tampines Changkat CC, perform the following tasks:
- Do a visual check on the number of books left on the shelves
- Reshelve returned books and top-up with more books if necessary
- Check in and reshelve books that have been placed laying around the library
- Process the books using the portable book borrowing station before reshelving
- Customer service – answer simple enquiries pertaining to the Fantasy Sci-Fi library
- Test the gantries to ensure it works well and help with the maintenance when required
- Any other duties as instructed
