Responsibilities
- Take charge of designing, installing, and commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems for process and utility projects. Ensure project goals—budget, timelines, and functionality—are met while maintaining compliance with cGMP, safety, and environmental standards. Facilitate smooth system integration and operational readiness.
- Develop specifications and engineering documents for electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Perform feasibility studies, risk assessments, and vendor evaluations.
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive designs and support procurement activities.
- Supervise installation, testing, and qualification of systems.
- Manage contractors, ensure compliance with standards, and resolve technical issues.
- Lead commissioning activities and validate systems per protocols.
- Set up calibration facilities and manage instrument maintenance schedules.
- Train teams on system usage and compliance protocols.
- Drive system performance monitoring and implement improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- 8+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or related industries.
- Strong background in design, project management, and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with maintenance systems like Maximo.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and regulatory compliance.
- Open to short-term travel and up to 3 months of training in China.
- Meet project milestones with minimal disruptions.
- Ensure smooth handovers and compliance with HSE and regulatory standards.
