Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Education industry. They are looking for a GL Accountant to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the East area – easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Finance department to ensure seamless operational support for the organization.
- Assist in preparing monthly management reports and analyzing the Group’s financial performance.
- Participate in the monthly financial re-forecasting process.
- Assist in compiling materials, such as reports and presentations
- Support the creation of the organization's annual budget.
- Keep the Risk Register updated with relevant information.
- Prepare monthly journal entries, account schedules, and reconciliation
- Support month-end and year-end financial closings.
- Manage cash flow, including forecasting and maintaining liquidity.
- Oversee the capitalization, monitoring, and tagging of fixed assets.
- Assess, recommend, and enhance internal financial controls in compliance with the institution's policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely compliance with statutory reporting to authorities
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, insurers, and other external agencies.
- GST submissions
- Provides supervisions.
- All other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Accounting or other relevant field of studies.
- Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experiences
