Responsibilities
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans for regional operations.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and planned financial performance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key insights and trends.
- Work closely with business units (sales, operations, marketing) to provide financial insights that guide decision-making.
- Support strategic projects such as market expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and new product launches.
- Identify opportunities to enhance revenue growth, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.
- Develop complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, pricing strategies, and capital expenditure.
- Provide scenario analysis and risk assessments to support decision-making.
- Consolidate financial data across countries or business units within the region.
- Ensure compliance with corporate reporting standards and regional regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with global headquarters to align regional financial performance with global objectives.
- Analyze trends in market dynamics, healthcare costs, and patient or customer behavior.
- Provide actionable insights for management to improve profitability and market competitiveness.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, corporate governance policies, and regional regulatory requirements.
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Guide junior analysts and contribute to their professional development.
- Lead cross-functional financial projects and initiatives across the region.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields (CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus).
- 5–8 years in FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar role; experience in the healthcare/medical industry is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in financial software (SAP, Hyperion, Oracle).
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
