Job Description:
This is a full time role for a Sales Marketing Manager (Freight Forwarding) located in Jalan Kilang. Our client is in the logistics industry. This role focuses on securing new customers, maintaining revenue from existing accounts, and balancing new business development (50%) with account management (50%). Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, delivering tailored logistics solutions, managing cross-trade business, and supporting network shipments. Key tasks involve preparing quotations, RFQs, SOPs, and maintaining strong carrier relationships. Collaboration with Customer Service and Operations ensures smooth execution, while regular reporting to the Managing Director and Sales Manager keeps management updated on progress and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/ Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or in a discipline related to Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
- More than 5 years Sales experience in 3rd Party Logistics & distribution and / or Freight forwarding / or warehousing.
- Experience with a good sense of hunting in developing new sales opportunities or having the experience in Key Account Management.
- Ability to understand customers’ expectations and make value proposition to customers.
