Our client is in the Oil and Gas Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Senior Engineering Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee basic and detailed engineering from tender to project handover.
- Identify training and development needs for the team.
- Manage third-party engineering vendors.
- Support upper management with technical and engineering decisions.
- Build and lead engineering teams, providing clear instructions.
- Lead R&D projects for new designs, products, and processes.
- Ensure technical accuracy in team’s work and take ownership of designs and calculations.
- Coordinate work with other departments and managers.
- Foster knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
- Align engineering, management, and other departments on goals and priorities.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and challenges to stakeholders.
- Advocate for the engineering team’s needs and achievements.
- Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for engineering projects.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent.
Requirement
- Min Degree in Chemical Engineering or other engineering field
- Min 9 years of relevant experience in onshore/offshore engineering.
- Experience in Water Treatment, Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas experience will be preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in process and engineering management
- Relevant training and/or certifications as an Engineering Manager will be advantage
