Job Description:
This role is for Regional Project Management lead, and He/she plays a pivot role in managing projects across multiple locations and oversees a team of regional project managers, ensuring successful delivery of projects across APAC. This executive role requires strategic leadership, cross-functional coordination, and operational excellence to achieve organizational goals and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize project delivery across regions.
- Align regional project management practices with organizational goals.
- Serve as a key member of the executive team, contributing to overall business strategy.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of regional project managers.
- Foster a high-performing culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews and professional development planning for team members.
Project Oversight
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and address roadblocks proactively.
- Establish and maintain standards for project management excellence.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project objectives.
- Act as the escalation point for critical project issues.
- Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and regional stakeholders.
Operational Efficiency
- Analyse and optimize project workflows and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Report regularly on KPIs, project performance, and financial outcomes to the executive leadership team.
- Prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Min 12 years in project management, with min 5 years in a senior leadership role with PMP certifications.
- Experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Lean).
- Experience in project management tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
