The person will be part of the IT Application team to maintain existing IT Systems and Bank’s Core Application. This individual is also responsible for providing immediately attention to the daily issues received by IT Service Desk.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1st level support for banking applications e.g. Core Banking System (Avaloq)
- Problem and incident analysis and management
- Perform daily and monthly IT operational tasks to ensure health running of applications.
- Application server support, administration & monitoring
- User application account/ access administration
- IT application deployment
- Proper documentation of work
Requirements
- Computer Science related Diploma or Degree.
- Min 3 years' relevant experience as an operations or support specialist preferably in banking sectors
- Good communication skills
- Team player and able to work under pressure
Key Competencies
- Competent in SQL, especially Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience in Oracle Database
- Preferable with knowledge or experience in Avaloq
- Knowledge or experience in BMC Software Control-M is an advantage
- Knowledge or experience in DOS/ Windows Batch scripting is an advantage
- Knowledge or experience in Unix scripting is an advantage
- Knowledge or experience in Java programming is an advantage
