Job Description:
This is a full time role for a Senior Customer Service Executive (Sea Freight) located in Jalan Kilang. Our client is in the logistics industry. This role involves managing sea export, sea import, warehousing, and trucking activities, including creating bookings in the company's freight forwarding system and handling complete sets of import and export shipping documents. Responsibilities include monitoring pre-alert documents, tracking vessel schedules, addressing customer inquiries, and liaising with multiple stakeholders such as warehouses, carriers, trucking services, and customs. The position also involves sourcing service provider rates, coordinating sales leads, ensuring compliance with customer SOPs, preparing internal SOPs, invoicing, and generating reports. Additional tasks include providing problem-solving solutions for shipments and performing ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Familiar with incoterms and triangle shipments
- Familiar with custom requirements, import and export procedures.
- Minimum 4 - 5 years working experience in Freight Forwarding.
- Diploma in Freight Forwarding / Logistics is preferred.
- Proficient in Ms Office (excel)
