Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel patients on the use of CPF Medisave accounts and explain chronic care management packages available at polyclinics.
- Advise patients on the principles and guidelines of the MediCare Assistance scheme.
- Assess patients’ financial status and eligibility for financial assistance schemes, including medical bill waivers for eligible patients.
- Assist patients with managing medical bill settlements and provide guidance on financial assistance applications.
- Address patient inquiries and ensure completeness and accuracy of financial assistance applications submitted.
- Safeguard and maintain proper filing of Medisave Authorization Forms (MAF).
- Perform daily reconciliation of MAF submissions against the system.
- Conduct peer audits and checks on MediCare Assistance documentation.
- Verify and process documents submitted to the Finance Department, such as patient refund vouchers and waivers.
- Act as the primary liaison between the clinic and Finance Department on finance-related matters.
- Provide support to clinic staff as required.
- Carry out any other responsibilities assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or Economics, with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
