We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Compensation & Benefits (C&B) and HCMS for a leading multinational organization headquartered in Singapore. With a global workforce spanning seven locations and multiple business units, this company is committed to fostering a collaborative, innovative, and employee-focused environment.
The Head of C&B and HCMS will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies that align with the organization’s global operations. This role will oversee the Human Capital Management System (HCMS) and HR Operations to ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement across these critical functions.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading C&B functions within a large multinational corporation or global conglomerate for at least five years. Strong leadership skills are essential to manage and guide a team of C&B professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Compensation & Benefits Leadership:
- Design, implement, and manage global compensation and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market competitiveness.
- Oversee salary structures, incentive plans, and employee benefits across diverse business units and regions.
- Conduct market benchmarking and job evaluations to maintain equitable and competitive compensation practices.
- Manage annual salary reviews, bonus schemes, and performance-based reward systems.
2. Human Capital Management System (HCMS) Oversight:
- Oversee the HCMS function to ensure seamless integration across HR processes and systems globally.
- Lead the enhancement and optimization of the HCMS to improve efficiency, data analytics, and user experience.
- Collaborate with IT and regional HR teams to ensure effective system support and troubleshooting.
3. Global Workforce Management:
- Align compensation and benefits strategies to address the unique needs of a global and diverse workforce.
- Develop policies that consider regional variations while maintaining global consistency.
- Address challenges related to varying regulations, market trends, and cultural differences across locations.
4. HR Operations Leadership
- Oversee HR operations at the headquarters level, ensuring the smooth delivery of HR services and processes.
- Streamline HR workflows and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Collaborate with global & regional HR teams to standardize and improve HR operations across global offices.
- Manage compliance with local and international labor laws, ensuring all HR policies and practices adhere to regulatory requirements.
5. Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of five C&B, HCMS & HR Operations Professionals, fostering their professional growth and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive environment, encouraging innovation and excellence within the team.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on compensation, benefits, and HCMS matters.
6. Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with local labor laws and regulations across global offices.
- Prepare and present regular reports on compensation metrics, system performance, and workforce trends to senior management.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CCP, GRP) is preferred.
- At least 12 years of progressive experience in C&B, with a minimum of 5 years as a Head of C&B or C&B Lead in a large multinational corporation or global conglomerate.
- Proven expertise in managing compensation and benefits for a global workforce, including benchmarking, job evaluation, and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience overseeing HCMS functions, with the ability to drive system optimization and ensure integration with business processes.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders across different regions and cultures.
