Morgan McKinley is seeking a Loan Operations Specialist for a 1-year contract employment with our client in the digital/corporate banking industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for relevant projects.
- Handle disbursement, drawdown, renewal, and redemption processes for secured loans.
- Coordinate with the Treasury department for funding arrangements, including disbursement through cashier’s orders or interbank transfers.
- Manage the creation and updating of records within the Bank’s systems related to secured loans.
- Oversee daily loan operations, including the review and verification of legal and loan documentation for mortgage lending.
- Collaborate with external parties such as solicitors, valuers, and insurers regarding secured loans.
- Support the bank’s loan redemption processes.
- Assist in processing the Bank’s time deposit products.
- Perform account management tasks, including account freezing, earmarking of funds, and audit confirmations.
- Undertake any additional ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Banking & Finance or equivalent
- Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in Loan Operations and Administration.
- Preferably has mortgage loans/ banking loan operations experience
- Familiar with secured and unsecured lending, collateral management.
- Self-driven, proactive team player with a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
