This advertisement is recruiting for the position of ICT Teacher Aide (Designer cum Trainer).
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE primary school located in Bukit Batok.
Contract Period: from 1 March 2025 to 28 February 2026.
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Fridays: 8:00am to 5:00pm, excluding of half an hr lunch break
- Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
The scope of services are set out as follows:
- Conduct ICT lessons, including coding for P1 to P6 pupils.
- Assist in training students for the Multimedia club on coding and related competitions.
- Work with teachers on content and resource creation for ICT integration and other IT related design for all school events.
- Supervise or conduct afternoon activities that are ICT related / Makers activities such as coding, 3D printer etc.
- Assist in school functions (i.e. in computer-related presentations, hall sound and projection systems,filming or photography).
- Develop overall layout and production designs for banners, cover designs, newsletter, etc for classroom activities and school events using ICT software
- The successful candidate must sign an Undertaking to safeguard Official Information.
The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Qualification
- Shall have at least a Higher Nitec certification in ICT/ Design &
- Media or equivalent Skills
Experience
- Shall have at least 3 years of experience in teaching IT lessons in a school.
- Shall have at least 1 year of experience in teaching coding / robotics to students
Skills
- Shall be proficient in Adobe Software, Photography, and Videography.
