Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Type : 3 Year direct Contract with the Client
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions that meet business and technical needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions, optimize performance, ensure security, and lead cloud architecture best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud solutions using platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Automate and optimize cloud resource management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Ensure cloud security, compliance, and implement best practices.
- Manage cloud service vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Develop and execute IT project plans, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline are met.
- Support business units with tailored cloud solutions and post-implementation troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, and automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in Linux administration, scripting (Python, Bash), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience managing IT projects and cloud infrastructure for research or enterprise environments.
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure) and strong problem-solving skills.
