Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager to lead our internal audit function and ensure compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves overseeing IT audit activities, risk assessments, and working closely with various departments to strengthen our control environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT audit program aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
- Lead and supervise IT audit teams in performing complex audits of information systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity controls
- Evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls, governance structures, and risk management processes
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk-based audit plans
- Review and assess compliance with IT policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Provide detailed audit reports and recommendations to senior management
- Collaborate with external auditors during statutory audits and regulatory examinations
- Monitor remediation efforts and follow up on audit findings
- Mentor and develop junior audit team members
- Stay current with emerging technologies and their impact on audit methodologies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CISSP, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of IT audit experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies
- Experience with IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001)
- Knowledge of Malaysian regulatory requirements and international standards
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is an advantage
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in IT audit tools and methodologies
- Understanding of network architecture and security protocols
- Knowledge of database management systems
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with ERP systems and business applications
- Soft Skills:
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent report writing capabilities
- Team leadership and mentoring abilities
