Job Overview:
This dynamic role is your chance to be the central hub for all operational activities supporting our Regional/Global Key Account Managers in the Oil & Gas Upstream sector. You'll play a crucial role in executing seamless Export, Import, and Drop Shipments, ensuring adherence to customer SOPs and customs regulations. As the key operational contact, you'll keep everyone informed through the Internal BWS system, generate insightful KPI reports, and proactively address any concerns.
Your Role
- Acts as the Control Tower and Focal Contact Point in the day-to-day operations, supporting Regional/Global Key Account Manager.
- Executes Export, Import, and Drop Shipments for assigned locations, ensuring adherence to Customer SOP and Customs Formalities.
- Demonstrates expertise in handling dangerous and controlled items and a comprehensive understanding of import and export regulations for each country/location.
- Ensures strict compliance with Customs, HSSEQ, Customer, and BWS guidelines during shipment handling.
- Serves as the key operational contact point for each assigned location/office, maintaining prompt updates in the Internal BWS system with agreed-upon milestones at both PO and shipment levels.
- Submits ad-hoc quotes when required and generates Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports for presentation to Key Account Manager and the Customer.
- Ensures timely billing and meticulous maintenance of shipment records.
- Supports Regional/Global Key Account Manager in addressing concerns, resolving issues, managing discrepancies, and handling escalations.
- Regularly attends weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
Other tasks
- Downloads and track Customer Purchase Orders through the BWS Internal System.
- Coordinates supplier-to-warehouse collections and update the internal system accordingly.
- Maintains Inventory Accuracy for assigned offices and generate weekly On Hand Stocks reports.
- Ensures timely shipment processing, document preparation, and delivery with customer updates.
Your Background
- Minimum 3 years of International Freight Forwarding experience, with a strong focus on Oil & Gas Upstream activities.
- Strong PO Management capabilities, system knowledge, delegation skills, team spirit, analytical skills, and proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- IT proficiency, particularly in Office365.
