Role: The Accounts Clerk is an entry level role, that will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting & finance function within the company, reporting to the company Accountant.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting & finance duties including receivables and payables processes, general ledger, tax and bank reconciliation, etc.;
- Vetting of receivables and payables to ensure accuracy in financial reporting;
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports;
- Consolidate accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards;
- Support audit and tax queries;
- Manage timely closing process and reconciliations;
- Support the operational and sales teams from an accounting and finance perspective.
Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent;
- Strong understanding of accounting principles;
- Strong knowledge and competenty in Microsoft Suite, in particular Excel;
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment;
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency;
- Hands-on experience in ERP systems such as Oracle would be an advantage.
