Reports directly to:
The Accounting Manager reports directly to the Managing Director.
Tasks, responsibilities, and competency:
- Manage the financial accounting and reporting function for Singapore entities.
- Manage and mentor team members from the accounting team, including but not limited to hands-on in guiding the team in resolving complex issues.
- Review and post journal entries to ensure monthly and quarterly closing goes smoothly.
- Review and prepare trial balance and financial statements.
- Review and perform monthly account reconciliation. etc
- Lead reporting to liaise with external auditors in annual financial audit and statutory reporting for the group.
- Prepare financial data to support tax submission.
- Prepare related financial data for government declarations.
- Provide financial data according to the business needs of other departments.
- Build dynamic working relationships and become a trusted advisor to key leaders and business partners and help them solve their most critical operational issues.
- Lead and support ad-hoc accounting projects.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accountancy
- Big 4 experience is preferred.
- Proficient in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Professional accounting qualification is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese would be highly advantageous.

- Self-directed, self-motivated, good logical thinking skills and able to come up with solutions and suggestions for process improvement.
- Ability to prioritise, meet strict deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, listening and communication skills, with the ability to positively influence and collaborate at all levels across the organisation and explain complex accounting concepts and issues in a clear and simple manner.
