Investment Reporting is a critical function within the Finance department, supporting Income's multi-asset investment portfolios totaling over $40 billion.
We collaborate closely with various departments across the organization and external service providers to provide operational oversight and support for investment portfolios, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
As a member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting reporting functions essential for managing the assets of insurance funds.
You will be part of the team that is responsible for overseeing and supporting the operational and reporting requirements of Income's investment assets, including Investment-Linked Products (ILP)
- Oversee the review of daily and monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations for ILP and insurance funds
- Review financial statements and fund reports in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage cashflows and fund expenses, including accruals, invoicing, and payment processing
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports
- Collaborate with auditors and regulators to address queries and ensure compliance
- Act as the primary contact for internal stakeholders, including investment teams and risk and compliance management to address investment-related matters.
- Liaise with external parties such as custodians, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless operations
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
- Provide hands-on support in resolving complex or time-sensitive issues during financial closings or operational peaks
- Drive the automation of reporting and reconciliation processes using relevant tools and systems
- Lead and manage change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during process updates, system implementations, or structural shifts
- Participate in projects or ad-hoc tasks as allocated.
Qualifications
- University Degree in the Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience in financial industry and regulatory reporting
- Prior experience in audit firm or insurance sector will be an added advantage
- Strong fund accounting knowledge, skills and experience in various investment asset classes and related processes
- Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous with eye for details
