The Opportunity

We're on the hunt for a seasoned IT Audit Specialist to join our client's robust Internal Audit team. This pivotal role will support the Head of IT Audit in steering the organisation's IT audit initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

• Crafting and delivering impactful IT audit reports to executive committees and C-suite leaders
• Scrutinising diverse IT ecosystems, from enterprise resource planning to mission-critical operational platforms
• Spearheading data analytics efforts to uncover process enhancements and system optimizations
• Conducting comprehensive reviews of cybersecurity measures, from network infrastructure to application safeguards
• Offering strategic input during system development phases to ensure robust control mechanisms
• Evaluating business continuity strategies and disaster recovery protocols
• Orchestrating audit resources to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with organizational objectives
• Fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the audit team
• Cultivating strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external audit partners

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven track record with at least 5 years in IT audit or Technology Risk Management positions, ideally within financial services industry
• Hands-on experience with a diverse technology stack, including cloud platforms, ERP systems, and data analytics tools
• Profound understanding of IT governance frameworks, risk management principles, and audit methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence at senior levels
• Exceptional analytical skills coupled with strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Adept at both independent work and collaborative team environments
