Accounting / Financial Services Internship:

Allowance: $900/month – no CPF provided

• Period: 2 months
  Feb 2025 - Mar 2025
  Possible Extend for 3 - 4 months

Work Schedule:

• 5-day work week, Monday-Friday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
• 4-day work-week option available based on approval

Job description:

Our internship is designed to let you learn about the financial services in the Whole Trade industry.

Financial Documentation & Reporting:

• Report to the Senior Finance Manager.
• Utilize NetSuite Oracle for generating and managing credit notes and invoices.
• Review approval forms (2022-2025) to ensure budget compliance and prevent over-expenditure.

Compliance:

• Assist with IRAS filing submissions and support the year-end audit process. [if timeline matches]
• Participate in month-end closing and accounting tasks.

Coordination:

• Communicate with vendors and customers to address late or missing invoices.
• Collaborate with Key Account Sales teams to align budgets with financial documents.

Accounts Receivable & Payable Management:

• Monitor and follow up on overdue AR and AP.
• Generate payment journals and process payments via Corporate Bank.

Ad-Hoc Duties:

• Undertake other assignments as directed by the Senior Finance Manager

Requirements

• Accounting modules or focused or equivalent
• Singaporeans and Permanent Residents only.
• Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and excellent communication
• Proficient Knowledge on Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to use pivot tables, V-Lookup, and other excel functions is mandatory­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­
