ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Senior Audit Associate operates in work contexts that are less standardised and unanticipated changes can be frequent due to changes in the external environment.

• Able to identify unethical behaviour and react based on the applicable ethical principles. He/She is expected to team lead various sizes of audit engagements which include planning, performing, reviewing of audit work performed by a less experienced personnel member and concluding the engagement.

• Works closely with team members to execute the audit plan and ensures the timely completion of the audit engagement. He/She also works closely with clients and manages their expectations to further nurture on-going client relationships.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• The ideal candidate will have 1~2 years of experience and be bi-lingual in English and Mandarin
• Act in accordance with applicable professional standards
• Analyse the impact of changing business environment on clients business
• Apply project management techniques to manage project timelines
• Coach junior team members to achieve technical competency and efficient performance
• Facilitate effective communication within the cross functional and culturally diverse team
• Identify areas for personal development to improve work performance
• Identify client’s business and key risks
• Identify ethical conflicts
• Implement and provide input to audit plan
• Obtain audit evidence to corroborate information
• Perform quality audit in compliance with professional standards
• Propose resolutions to significant accounting and auditing issues
• Review financial statements in accordance with applicable framework

Jobs Description :

· Responsible for leading a team of fellow Associates/ Seniors

· Provide audit services to a portfolio of diversified clients

· Overseeing proper execution of external audit, corporate governance, compliance, enterprise risk assessment projects, including planning, fieldwork and reviews

· Mentor and provide technical guidance to staff auditors

· Professional accounting qualification and/or a Bachelor degree in Accounting

· At least 4 years of working experience at relevant and supervisory level

· Performed other duties as assigned by Audit Partner

· Plan and schedule for the audit assignment

· Management and supervision of staff

· Review audit work papers

Job Requirements :

· Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification, CA qualification is preferred

· Excellent understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, auditing standards and accounting principles

· Analytical, self-driven and a team leader & player

· Assistant Manager roles, you will need at least 4 years of relevant audit experience.

· Independent

· Possess Leadership qualities

· Staff management experience including mentoring, counselling and recruitment

· Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

· Strong technical knowledge

· Highly motivated and with a strong desire to progress

Job Requirements :

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin
• Deliver quality external auditing services to clients
• Plan engagements and audit strategies to comply with professional standards (Singapore Financial Reporting Standards)
• Provide independent verification of clients' compliance with accounting principles
• Develop and maintain long-term client relationships
• Flexibility to cope with very diversified assignments
• Diploma/Degree in Finance or Accounting, ACCA
• At least 1 to 2 years of related working experience
• Good planning and organizational skills & leadership
• Able to communicate with staff at all levels and across the region
• Good understanding of Singapore finance practices.
• Able to work independently yet contribute as a team player
• Able to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
