Royal Ocean Marine is looking for an Account Assistant / Associate to join our client an MNC company. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and contribute to the overall success of the accounting department. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and eager to grow their careers in the maritime industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and processing of financial documents such as invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
- Handle AP accounts function
- Liaise with other department colleagues and suppliers (where necessary)
- Assist in month-end closing
- Liaise with auditors on audit matters and audit schedules
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Possess a diploma or lower in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in an accounting role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Able to handle high-volume transactions
- Good interpersonal skills and meticulous
- Fast learner
- Open to those with accounting education but do not have experience and are eager to learn
