Responsibilities:

• Manage the full spectrum of the Finance function, mainly: Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and GL.
• Review weekly payment to suppliers and monthly staff reimbursements.
• Assist and prepare monthly Management Report and Weekly Cash Flow Projection.
• Provide timely and accurate information to the business units and management on the business’ performance.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure timely closing of account and submission of reports.
• Prepare monthly audit schedules.
• Assist with system implementation and new process to streamline work processes.
• Review work performed by junior staff.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• at least Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or ACCA equivalent.
• At least 4 Year(s) of working experience in Finance is required for this position.
• Strong working knowledge of GST and corporate tax.

Job Description:

a. Corporate Taxation

• Support clients on taxation services as follows:
• Analyze Financial Statements & GL to identify strategies to minimize client’s tax costs, ensure tax compliance and accurate tax filing
• Preparation of corporate tax computations for clients from various industries
• Preparation of ECI and Form C/C-S and the filings to IRAS
• Preparation and filings of withholding taxes to IRAS
• Preparation of application of COR for DTA
• Research on various tax matters
• Any other ad hoc works related to corporate tax

b. Individual Taxation services

• Prepare the computation of clients’ individual taxes, preparation of IR8A and IR21 tax clearance
• Responsible for the e-filing of tax return to IRAS
• Preparation of AIS data

c. Supervisory role

• Coach and provide guidance to Senior / Tax Associates and Tax Interns
• Review tax computations and tax related work prepared by Senior / Tax Associates and/or Tax Interns to ensure accuracy and timely submission

d. Handle tax inquiries and audit from IRAS

e. Responsible for the transfer pricing documentations / projects

f. Assist Managers for any other tax related engagements and/or projects as assigned

g. Provide tax advisory services to clients

h. Administrative functions of tax assignments

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess a Degree, preferably in an accounting/business/tax-related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Singapore Corporate & Individual tax compliance, with coaching / supervisory experience.
• Good knowledge in Singapore Tax system and rules
• ATP / ATA holders are advantageous.
• Those with prior experience in professional service firm is advantageous
