About the role

Accounts Officer/Executive, Income Audit (Open to Fresh Graduates)

You will be integral in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the hotel’s financial performance. Key responsibilities include verifying and reporting hotel revenues, reviewing supporting documentation submitted to the Accounting team, and preparing the Daily Revenue Report. • Analyze daily void reports from the hotel’s F&B POS system to verify proper inventory control within the Food & Beverage department.

The Group Executive, Internal Audit reports to the Head of Internal Audit will be part of the Group Internal Audit team that provides independent objective assessment of the adequacy of the Group’s internal control systems and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The incumbent executes internal audit engagements in accordance with audit procedures and applicable frameworks on governance, risk management and control. He/She supports the team in providing advice and business insights to the organisation by identifying opportunities and making recommendations for change. He/She should remain updated on professional competence standards.

Responsibilities:

• Document organisation's internal controls and business processes, and makes recommendations for changes to the organisation's internal controls and business processes.
• Identify risk of threats to independence
• Document organisation's internal controls and business processes
• Develop awareness of cybersecurity threats, infocomm technology (IT) risks, controls, IT developments and risks related to information security and data privacy
• Identify design and control gaps
• Support the team in providing advice and business insights to the organisation by identifying opportunities and making recommendations for change
• Execute internal audit engagements in accordance with the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF)
• Act in accordance with The Institute of Internal Auditors' (IIA) Code of Ethics

Pre-requisites

• Minimum Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
• Meticulous, objective and analytical
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team member
• Well organised with the ability to prioritise and plan workload
• Ability to review technology controls, where relevant preferred

JOB SUMMARY:

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To track relevant legislations/policies that affect vegetable oil trade (with focus on carbon) and advise stakeholders in the Company.
• To assist in designing product flows to help identify specifications / requirements of the customer(s). Collaboration with different Departments will be necessary.
• Develop a strong trading acumen by understanding how the commodity market functions.
• Develop an understanding of supply chain and logistics.
• Support Key Accounts team in presentations.

Requirements:

• Degree in any Discipline
• Keen interest in policy, regulations and market trends.
• Relevant experience in vegetable oil trade and/or with focus in carbon is a plus
• Strong learning agility
• Good numerate and analytical skills
• Effective communication and networking skills

Role:

Account Executive (QuickBooks)

• Singapore Based (Redhill / WFH)
• Working days: 5 days Mon to Fri 9/10am to 5pm (can WFH 1-2 days per week)
• $2500 to $3000
• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + 2 years of full-set accounting experience.

Job Description:
Handle full sets of accounts including invoicing, receipt updates, vendor invoice processing, payment arrangements, journal entries, maintenance, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, fixed assets registers, and general ledger
Manage day-to-day financial operations and monitor cashflow
Prepare and review gst submission and tax returns
Preparation of financial statements and assist in other related statutory filings required
Manage end to end payroll process, including preparation, calculation and disbursement of monthly salary/commission
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements such as CPF, income tax and other relevant payroll tax obligations
Support general administrative task
