The Audit Senior is responsible for leading the team in audit engagements of different sizes. This requires working closely with team members to execute the audit plan and ensure the timely completion of the audit engagement, as well as reviewing audit work done by less experienced personnel. The Audit Senior is also expected to manage the client's expectations and the ongoing relationships.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
· Analyse the impact of the changing business environment on clients' business
· Coach junior team members to achieve technical competency and efficient performance
· Identify areas for personal development to improve work performance
· Identify clients' business and key risks
· Identify ethical conflicts
· Identify significant accounting and auditing issues
· Implement and provide input to audit plan
· Obtain audit evidence to corroborate information
· Perform quality audit in compliance with professional standards
· Proficient in the Caseware Auditing Software
Job Requirement:
· Degree in accountancy or related discipline and/or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ISCA / ACCA / CPA Australia / ICAEW)
· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferably from a local public accounting firm
· Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
· Able to work independently under the supervision by Manager/Supervisor
· Computer skills in Microsoft Office;
· Possess good knowledge of SSA/ISA, SFRS/IFRS, SFRS for Small Entities/IFRS for SME
