Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable (AR):

• Manage the entire Accounts Receivable function within the Finance Department.
• Ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices to customers.
• Conduct follow-up actions to maintain a clean and up-to-date receivables aging.
• Generate new debtor codes as needed.
• Process staff claims, submit quarterly GST, and handle banker's guarantee applications.
• Engage in month-end closing activities, including AR aging reports, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, and journal adjustments.
• Process credit application forms and manage credit risk effectively.

The role:

Your primary accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Prepare monthly accounts, journal entries and reconciliations for accounts, cash, payables, bank, inter-company, fixed assets and others.
2. Responsible for performing balance sheet, revenue and expense, as well as executing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
3. In charge of monthly and annual financial statements preparation and closure.
4. Assist with compliance and regulations in areas including corporate tax, XBRL, GST and others.
5. Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, tax and government authorities where necessary.
6. Ensuring adherence to statutory and company accounting or finance policies and procedures.
7. Submission of government financial statistical survey/data.
8. Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support inter-company activities.
9. Support company treasury management, budgeting and financing activities.

Requirements:

• Hold at least a diploma in accounting/business administration or related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin in order to liaise with China counterpart, as well as Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat and other office software.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills, organized, resourceful and good problem-solving abilities.
