Role Description
You will be building and growing a portfolio of new and existing clients by delivering world class security assurance services that verify our client’s compliance with regulatory and technical security standards.
You will be responsible for managing the sales cycle of multiple ongoing projects across multiple clients. You will be supported by technical presales and project management for service and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations, clearly articulating the value of security assurance services in terms of risk reduction, compliance, and improving overall security posture.
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to align strategies and support campaigns that promote security our assurance services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and compliance regulations, ensuring your recommendations are relevant and effective.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by managing a full sales pipeline from a portfolio of existing clients incoming leads and new lead generation.
- Align our pricing strategies with clients to capture future repeat business
CRM Management
- Keep CRM data up to date and accurate for effective account management.
- Utilise CRM, Dynamics 365 for tracking leads, managing client interactions, and ensuring the sales process is optimised.
Account Planning:
- Work with the technical Pre sales team to identify the client’s security requirements based on the client’s security goals, compliance regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create strategic account plans, focusing on long-term client needs and opportunities for growth.
Forecasting and Reporting:
Regularly update sales forecasts and provide detailed reports on pipeline health, deal progression, and revenue outlook. Use CRM data and analytics to accurately predict sales performance and plan resource allocation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity sales, specifically selling security products or services would be advantageous.
- Experience working with CRM systems for managing client data, tracking sales progress, and forecasting.
- Strong understanding of security assurance services and their role in compliance, risk management, and security improvement.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas and manage complex accounts with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous sales and account management experience
- Knowledge of security testing is an advantage.
