Job responsibilities

• Work with advertisers across across APAC (mainly China) to assist on their shopping campaign in EEA+CH. Help advertisers grow their EEA+CH export footprint and ROI
• Plan & Execute Shopping Campaign Reviews and client workshops or marketing events in country
• Develop and maintain strong 1:1 relationships with merchants and team members to understand their priorities and manage expectations
• Lead strategic discussions with the merchants’ key decision makers to design and implement plans for Shopping optimisation and growth
• Analyse data and trends in order to create meaningful insights for your merchants. Gather and interpret key customer feedback, issuing recommendations to the business on how to delight our merchants.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Mandarin (Chinese) to communicate with different regional customers and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

• Strong analytical capabilities (e.g., Google Sheets) and excellent communication/presentation skills
• Ability to synthesize business insights and inform business strategy
• Influential approach to understanding and aligning stakeholder needs
• Effective collaboration with support teams to troubleshoot customer issues and provide outstanding customer service
• Client service/account management experience, ideally within e-commerce or with an omnichannel retailer
• In-depth expertise in shopping ad types

Job Description

● Manage full set of accounts for the business and Japan holding company’s needs

● Lead and guide Accounts Team on daily operations (GL, AR, AP, intercompany balances, transactions

and cash-flow, staff’s claims reimbursements etc.)

● Provide business analysis, consolidation of monthly/quarterly/yearly financial results and support

production of yearly budgets and revenue forecast

● Monitor, assess and ensure timely and accurate transaction for closing of monthly/quarterly/ yearly

reporting of financial and management reports, as well as prepare financial reports for Japan HQ

● Review consolidation package done by subsidiary companies and report to Japan HQ

● Support communication with Japan HQ and subsidiary companies when required

● Review and support the accounts of subsidiary companies

● Reconcile, process and report all costing, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) activities

● Ensure tasks are carried out in compliance with operating standards, company rules & regulations and

statutory requirements

● Ensure accurate and timely filing of statutory reports

● Maintain fixed assets processes and procedures (including disposal, verification and depreciation of

fixed assets etc.)

● Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretary etc. on annual statutory

audit and tax matters

● Assist in management of transactions related to bonds and fixed deposit

● Handle J-SOX, internal control related queries and reporting required by Japan holding company

● Handle FRS116 accounting and review on new leases

● Handle Company’s tax reporting (GST, Corporate tax submission, withholding tax etc.)

● Liaise with HR regarding verification of payroll and CPF matters

● Liaise with respective business units to understand financial information needs in order to work out

efficient and effective solutions

● Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

● Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in full set of accounts is required

● Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in

Finance/Accountancy (candidates with CPA or CA certification will be a plus)

● Deliver accurate information for internal and external reporting

● Hands-on with sound knowledge in accounting and statutory rules and regulations

● IT savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and Oracle NetSuite

Good to Have

● Proficient in Japanese language skills in order to liaise with Japanese speaking associates
