To fuel further development, we invite applications for an Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) position in Geotechnical Engineering.

Applicants would need to possess PhD in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering with strong interdisciplinary expertise in areas such as soil mechanics, underground construction, soil improvement, instrumentation, monitoring, numerical analysis, Geoenvironmental engineering, as well as using the latest technologies such as AI, digitalization, data analytics, zero carbon and emerging geomaterials. Applicants who are competent to teach first- and second-year undergraduate basic courses for Civil Engineering such as Mechanics of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Computing and Mathematics will be considered favourably.  Candidates would also need to demonstrate strong and relevant teaching ability and strong communication skills. Applicants with industry experience will have an added advantage.

Assistant Professor (tenure track) Positions in Climate Science
The Asian School of the Environment (ASE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore seeks to appoint one Assistant Professor (tenure track) in Climate Science. We broadly welcome applications across all areas of tropical climate research. This can include, but is not limited to, atmospheric observation, tropical urban climate, and regional to global scale climate modelling.

ASE (https://www.ntu.edu.sg/ase) is a diverse, interdisciplinary school that integrates geoscience, ecology, and social science in order to examine environmental challenges in Asia and globally. ASE collaborates closely with the Earth Observatory of Singapore, and with the other schools and colleges in NTU. ASE has state-of-the-art teaching facilities and research laboratories, including environmental geochemistry laboratory, sediment and ecology laboratory, general-purpose laboratories, and high computation resources. The Psychology and Child & Human Development (PCHD) Academic Group at the NIE is a department comprising a team of educators and psychologists passionate about the application of psychology to general education, as well as the specialized domains of early childhood and special needs education. We invite suitably qualified applicants for positions as Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Educational /Developmental Psychology.   This position provides the opportunity to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in the areas of pedagogy, curriculum and assessment, to engage educational practitioners from schools and to pursue research in areas of psychology and human development.

Requirements

Successful candidates must have:

• A doctorate degree in a relevant field, preferably with specialization in classroom teaching/pedagogy/ curriculum development/assessment. 
• Applicants will be in a position of added advantage if he or she has taught in the Singapore school system. Additionally, teaching experience and broad research interest in educational psychology will be important.
• Evidence of outstanding teaching and innovative uses of technology, as well as a keen interest in advancing the field through rigorous research. 
• Willingness to understand and support the work of colleagues beyond one’s niche area of expertise 
• A strong commitment to and aptitude for teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels
• A good track record in university teaching and research, preferably at an institution of good standing*, and / or a promising trajectory in research and publication.
