How You Will Achieve It

• Support the shift operation in all activities, ensuring that it is meets all environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Support the STS in ensuring that all operation and maintenance activities are in compliance to the safety procedures for Lock out/Tag out, energy control procedures, line breaking activities, confine space entry, work at height, hot and cold work permitting.
• Ensure that the shop floor is in a constant state of safety and quality regulatory compliance and inspection ready
• Perform all production, pre MI and post MI activities to ensure manufacturing attainment is achieved, assist the STS in the deployment of resources based on criticality and priority.
• Assign operation task according to Manufacturing Standard Work (MSW) and Operation Standard Work (OSW)
• Participate in all troubleshooting activities in processing issues, deviations and coordinating with other functions when require immediate and preventive actions.
• Participate in all investigation, report and troubleshoot findings on both EHS and quality related issues observed during manufacturing or during batch record review.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities, contribute ideas and perform Plan, Do, Check, Action (PDCA) cycle
• Support the STS in the development of risk assessment, creation of job safety assessment and participate in HAZOP when required.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures as part of change control and perform periodic review.
• Assist in all commissioning, qualification and validation activities as necessary.
• Participate as a member of the emergency response team (ERT) when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate EUT (equipment under test).

· Perform electrical and mechanical testing of products by standards.

· Compile test results, raw data, and product description information into report templates and shells. Submit a report to the reviewer for final approval.

· Update test status and test results to engineers/managers.

· Following sample handling procedures, ensure that the sample is logged into and out of the system. Move equipment as needed through the facility. Properly package sample for shipment.

· Perform other work as required.

Key Requirements:

· NITEC or Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with preferably 3 years of relevant experience.

· Knowledge of the ISO Quality Management System (i.e. ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001) will be an added advantage.

· Strongly analytical, results,-oriented and service-oriented individual with demonstrated high agility to work in a cross-cultural, cross-generational, and matrix environment.

· Collaborative with internal and external stakeholders yet innovative to drive changes in challenging circumstances.

· Passionate about consumer safety and seeking purposeful career in a commercially dynamic environment.
