Job purpose:

As a Director in Structured Export & Trade Finance (m/f/d) based in Singapore, you are the central point of contact at Commerzbank for origination, structuring and execution of export finance transactions for the Asia-Pacific region.

You have several years of experience in export finance within the Asia-Pacific region and you have established contacts with representatives of ministries, banks and corporates in the Asian market.

In your new role, you focus on developing business opportunities for export finance transactions in selected Asian-Pacific countries and maintain regular contact with the relevant stakeholders, including Asian Export Credit Agencies. You work closely with our regional offices in Asia and jointly explore market and product developments.

You originate transactions, secure mandates and together in a transaction team, you lead as Transaction Director the structuring and execution of ECA covered financings. This includes coordinating relevant internal and external stakeholders, preparing documents for transaction-specific decision-making processes, and coordinate loan agreement and insurance documentation.

Key activities:

• Act as a Transaction Director with SETF franchise to originate, structure and execute financing transactions under ECA covered scheme to mainly emerging market borrowers across Asia.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with Asian borrowers, Exporters and Export Credit Agencies.
• Manage the internal approval process efficiently and effectively, maintaining a good reputation towards credit.
• Assist SETF Management in developing and implementing strategies for growth in the region.
• Work across client groups to ensure the best outcome for our clients and the bank.
• Facilitate and maintain open and collaborative communication within the tea.
• Ensuring strict compliance with the Bank's policies and procedures, being the first line of defence of the bank.

Formal education:

• Degree in economics, business administration or a similar qualification

Specialist knowledge (work experience, further qualification):

• Extensive knowledge of and several years of practical experience in export finance in Asia and with Asian Export Credit Agencies
• Dealing safely with representatives of ministries and banks
• Deep understanding the regulatory challenges in corporate and bank financing in emerging markets (e.g. sanctions, KYC requirements, Basle regulations) as well as experience in the risk analysis of international borrowers

Primary Job Function:

• Provide healthcare professionals with medical information and outcomes regarding Abbott Solutions (product portfolio) with the aim of generating ethical prescriptions according to iSell portfolio Model.
• Execute sales actions plans, deliver sales objectives, grow Abbott’s sales at ethical channel, focusing on the priority products and developing a sustainable HCP’s preference for Abbott taking into account the commercial strategy.
• This position reports to the Sales Manager.

Major Responsibilities:

Territory Sales Achievement

• Ensure optimal execution of plans of action (POA), field tactics program and territory plans.
• Regularly review achievement of sales against targets and initiate appropriate actions to ensure performance is in line with objectives.
• Ensure enlistment of new product launches in Group Practice, Private Specialist and Private hospitals.

Territory Management & Business Planning

• Manage and develop the territory through proper profiling, analysis of the situation, identification of business opportunities, resource allocation, development and realization of an adapted action plan.
• Conduct SWOT analysis of market/competitors to identify territory business opportunities.
• Develop Territory Business Plan based on key objectives and allocate resources (e.g. calls, budget) for optimal sales impact.
• Able to independently organize CME events for Group Practice and Private Specialist.
• Executes business plan to ensure resources are directed to accounts and customers of greatest potential.

Customer Focus and Service

• Build strong relationship with key accounts customers and build strong key opinion leaders.
• Territory customer database and target classifications updated continuously.
• Delivers core promotional messages within approved detail aids and in line with POA.
• Understands and comply with Abbott’s Code of Conduct.
• Leverage key customer relationships to gain market intelligence and to assist successful formulary listing in Private Hospital and Group Practice.

Reporting/ Administration

• Timely submission of territory Monthly Reports commenting on deviations from Business Plan and intended actions to align performance with plan.
• Comprehension and use of key reports (e.g. CLM and SFDC Dashboards)
• Timely submission of product quality complaints, adverse events and medical inquiries to respective affiliate QA, PV and Medical functions accordingly standard operating procedure

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences/Pharma or related sciences preferred
• Minimum 5 years of strong sales track record preferably in pharma/healthcare industry
• Sales driven, results-oriented with a high degree of self-motivation
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Overview:

This dynamic role is your chance to be the central hub for all operational activities supporting our Regional/Global Key Account Managers in the Oil & Gas Upstream sector. You'll play a crucial role in executing seamless Export, Import, and Drop Shipments, ensuring adherence to customer SOPs and customs regulations. As the key operational contact, you'll keep everyone informed through the Internal BWS system, generate insightful KPI reports, and proactively address any concerns.

Your Role

• Acts as the Control Tower and Focal Contact Point in the day-to-day operations, supporting Regional/Global Key Account Manager.
• Executes Export, Import, and Drop Shipments for assigned locations, ensuring adherence to Customer SOP and Customs Formalities.
• Demonstrates expertise in handling dangerous and controlled items and a comprehensive understanding of import and export regulations for each country/location.
• Ensures strict compliance with Customs, HSSEQ, Customer, and BWS guidelines during shipment handling.
• Serves as the key operational contact point for each assigned location/office, maintaining prompt updates in the Internal BWS system with agreed-upon milestones at both PO and shipment levels.
• Submits ad-hoc quotes when required and generates Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports for presentation to Key Account Manager and the Customer.
• Ensures timely billing and meticulous maintenance of shipment records.
• Supports Regional/Global Key Account Manager in addressing concerns, resolving issues, managing discrepancies, and handling escalations.
• Regularly attends weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.

Other tasks

• Downloads and track Customer Purchase Orders through the BWS Internal System.
• Coordinates supplier-to-warehouse collections and update the internal system accordingly.
• Maintains Inventory Accuracy for assigned offices and generate weekly On Hand Stocks reports.
• Ensures timely shipment processing, document preparation, and delivery with customer updates.

Your Background

• Minimum 3 years of International Freight Forwarding experience, with a strong focus on Oil & Gas Upstream activities.
• Strong PO Management capabilities, system knowledge, delegation skills, team spirit, analytical skills, and proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• IT proficiency, particularly in Office365.
