Roles & Responsibilities

• To oversee & manage all accounts functions, supervise Accounts Executive, and manage external accounting service provider.
• Manage all AR accounts receivable functions, which include invoicing via Sage Accounting software, progress claim, accrued revenue, WIP, and follow-up with debtors on receivables.
• Manage all AP functions, including sales commission system.
• To reconcile and manage bank accounts in different currencies daily.
• To manage bank applications such as Letter of Credit and Performance Bond.
• To check and approve the work of outsource accounting company, which undertakes the functions of bookkeeping, GST, and annual tax returns.
• Ensure the accounting process complies with the law.
• Assist with &/or prepare cashflow forecasting reports.
• Assist with &/or prepare any other regulatory submissions.
• Assist with &/or prepare financial reports for HQ in Japan.
• To work closely with other departments (sales / project / supply chain) from beginning to the end of each project, to ensure receivables and payables are handled in proper compliance with accounting procedures, on time, and till completion.
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounts
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Accounts Manager

Working hours:

Job Responsibilities

• Possess excellent knowledge in sake, shochu, classic cocktails, mocktails, liquors, spirits, beers and wines.
• Adept in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
• Interact and assess customers' preferences and make recommendations for drinks.
• Check customers' identifications and ensure it meets legal drinking age.
• Ensure that the bar is organized, well stocked and clean.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Any other duties as and when assigned by the Management.

Requirement

• Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role.
• Independent and creative in terms of creating and improving the range of bar drinks.
• Extensive knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
• Willingness to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Certification in bartending is a plus.
• Experience in bartending
