Our Established Client seeking a experienced Regional Key Account Manager /Director (Process Automation industry) to join their expanding team.

Strategic Key Account Management

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with top management of key accounts in SEA and South Asia, ensuring alignment with their business objectives.
• Leverage existing networks and resources to establish and expand relationships with global and regional key accounts in the process automation sector.
• Act as the primary contact for key customers, ensuring a seamless and professional customer experience.

Business Development and Market Penetration

• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the region, focusing on growth and expansion of Company's presence in SEA and South Asia.
• Develop and execute breakthrough strategies to engage and win global key accounts in the process automation industry.
• Drive penetration into untapped markets while retaining and expanding existing customer portfolios.

Achievement of Sales and KPI Targets

• Deliver on revenue, profitability, and other KPIs set by top management within the designated timeframe.
• Prepare and execute account-specific sales plans and strategies to achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives.
• Monitor account performance, provide accurate forecasts, and ensure results align with company expectations.

Customer Relationship and Solution Selling

• Build trusted advisory relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers at key accounts, addressing their needs with tailored solutions.
• Provide technical and commercial consultation, leveraging Company's cutting-edge process automation solutions.
• Engage in consultative selling, demonstrating a deep understanding of the process automation industry and customers’ challenges.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Company’s internal teams (e.g., product, engineering, service, and marketing) to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate customer feedback to internal teams to enhance product offerings and services.
• Lead regional efforts by aligning cross-departmental resources to achieve shared objectives.

Market Insights and Strategy

• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands in SEA and South Asia to refine strategic priorities.
• Provide regular feedback to senior management, ensuring the company stays ahead of industry trends and customer needs.
• Stay informed on the latest process automation technologies to offer innovative and competitive solutions.

Compliance and Reporting

• Ensure all activities comply with local regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, proposals, and sales data in the CRM system.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on account performance, pipeline, and achievements to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record in sales and key account management within the process automation industry.
• Strong existing relationships with top management in key accounts in SEA and South Asia (bonus).
• Min 5yrs relevant sales experiences in industrial/process automation preferably key account
• Exceptional ability to achieve sales KPIs and deliver measurable results.
• Expertise in developing and executing strategies to win and grow global key accounts.
• Able to communicate effectively in both English & Mandarin with key stakeholders & business associates in overseas China in the execution of jobscope.
• Cultural awareness and adaptability to work effectively across SEA and South Asia.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Grow accounts, secure bigger budgets, and retain key accounts year-on-year
2. Concept and Strategy Planning to unleash your creative juices to achieve brand storytelling and business objectives for our client & Kobe
3. Content Planning & Scheduling of campaigns
4. Develop accounts by analysing account potential; initiating, developing, and recommending new applications and strategies
5. Identifies potential in accounts by studying current business; interviewing key customer personnel and company personnel who have worked with the customer; identifying and evaluating additional needs; analysing opportunities
6. Develop strong and trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders
7. Manage timeline and ensure delivery for key milestones including presentations and approvals
8. Control the financial health of all campaigns
9. Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
10. Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. monthly revenue, client NPS score)
11. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory
12. Collaborate with community operations with campaign execution
13. Research and keep updated on vertical and social media trends for product knowledge as a professional advisor to the client; sharing of knowledge within and across departments
14. Any other responsibilities that the company may assign to you from time to time within reasonable scope

Key Account Manager

• Manage key accounts and grow business within the assigned territory to achieve sales target and profitability.
• Identify and develop new business consistent with the company’s growth strategy.
• Manage merchandisers to ensure timely replenishment of stock and proper products and point of sales display.
• Manage and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent order fulfilment and resolve any issues related to the key account promptly.
• Plan, coordinate and execute trade promotions and marketing activities.
• Monitor and analyse sales offtake data and stocks inventory to ensure accurate forecast and optimal sales outcome.

The Person:

A hands-on and seasoned sales professional, you should possess a diploma/degree or equivalent with good track record of at least 3 to 5 years of sales experience managing key accounts preferably in the fast-moving consumer goods industry (FMCG). You should be independent, result-driven and be able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You should have excellent communications and presentation skills, good customer relationship management skill and fluency in English.
