Job Descriptions

• Handle full set of accounts and General Ledger
• Manage GST/tax calculations and submission
• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including account reconciliations, financial reporting, and the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual statements
• Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements (includes liaising with auditors and government bodies where required)
• Prepare employment-related documents and manage payroll & CPF.
• Process tax clearance for foreign employees.
• Preparation of employees’ appointment, confirmation, promotion and termination letters
• Adhoc duties and reports required by Management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the Accounting & Financial Reporting function
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
• A proactive problem-solver with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.
• Ensure alignment of budget plans with organizational goals and financial constraints.
• Prepare periodic budget forecasts and recommend adjustments as necessary.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes to meet reporting deadlines.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial adjustments.
• Conduct cost analysis to identify savings opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Establish cost control policies and procedures to optimize resource allocation.
• Collaborate with operational teams to monitor project costs and profitability.

Job Description:
•Manage full set of accounts, including month-end closing process and ensure all month-end journals, AP, and AR sections are closed promptly
•Prepare Accounts Payable & periodic reconciliation of vendors' statement of accounts
•Assist in year-end audit & preparing audit schedules including liaising with external/internal auditors and tax agents as required
•Handle and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, audits, and tax filings (e.g., GST)
•Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director
